This is only partially tangential, but what value do you place on your time? There are certain parts of ourselves that are irrevocably private. That is to say we all have moments in our lives that break “the magic”. At some point we pick our noses, fart, burp, a stick our heads in a toilet. Our children will be born with their magic broken… their time will be transmitted to the world as a stage: a mutual exhibitionism for the consumption of the global stage. So this all begs the question – with so little of our private lives free from observation what value do you put on the briefest of time that you have alone?
